Patlabor: Early Days - S01

Humanity's progress brings advanced technology, including "Labors"-mass-produced robots used for everyday tasks. But criminals have begun exploiting these machines for their own illegal purposes. To counter this new wave of crime, police forces worldwide deploy specialized "Patrol Labors" or "Patlabors." Noa Izumi, a rookie officer, is assigned to a special Patlabor unit and given her own combat machine, which she names Alphonse. Alongside her team, she works to protect society from those who misuse this technology. As Izumi settles into her unit, she must balance her professional duties with personal relationships. She bonds with the reserved Asuma Shinohara, fellow pilot Isao Oota, and other teammates while tackling threats ranging from shadowy conspiracies to workplace conflicts-and even encounters with the unexplained.
