OVERTAKE! - S01

Freelance photographer Kouya Madoka lost everything after a photo he took led to vicious online harassment-his wife Saeko Yukihira, his confidence, and even his willingness to photograph people. Years later, a new assignment pulls him into the high-speed world of Formula 4 (F4),where amateur drivers compete in open-wheel racing. The intensity of the sport reignites his passion, and he can’t stop taking pictures. When Madoka captures Haruka Asahina, a driver for Komaki Motors, in a raw, emotional moment on the track, he impulsively decides to sponsor both Haruka and the struggling team. But the steep costs of racing soon force him to rethink his approach, pushing him to find creative ways to support the underfunded F4 squad. Despite the odds, Madoka’s unwavering belief in Haruka could be the key to lifting the young driver to victory.
