Outbreak Company - S01

Shinichi Kanou is a reclusive otaku who knows everything about anime, manga, and games. Hoping to break out of his isolated life, he applies for a job-only to be kidnapped and sent to the Eldant Empire, a fantasy world of elves, dragons, and dwarves. Stranded there, he gets an unusual assignment from the Japanese government: act as an "Otaku Missionary" and introduce otaku culture to this unfamiliar world. With backing from Japan and the help of Myucel, a half-elf maid, and Princess Petralka of the Eldant Empire, Shinichi navigates political tensions, class divides, and racial prejudice to share his passion in this new land.
