Okamikakushi: Masque of the Wolf - S01

Fifteen-year-old Hiroshi Kuzumi moves with his family to the mountain town of Jouga because of his father's job. Unlike many teens who struggle to adjust to a new place, Hiroshi is quickly embraced by his classmates-some even seem overly eager to be around him. He befriends two other students: his neighbor, the clingy and overly affectionate Isuzu Tsumuhana, and Kaname Asagiri, who also recently arrived in town. At first, Hiroshi's new life appears ordinary-until people begin vanishing without explanation. The townsfolk insist the missing individuals simply moved or transferred away, but Hiroshi suspects something darker is at play. Late at night, under the glow of a blood-red moon, masked figures prowl the streets of Jouga, hunting their prey. Their leader is a girl wielding a scythe. Who are these mysterious attackers, and is anyone in town truly safe from them?
