When they were kids, Izumi Norimoto and Kazusa Onodera were as close as siblings. But as they grew older, Kazusa started seeing him differently-unluckily for her, so did the other girls. Shunned by her peers, she had no choice but to pull away from Izumi by the time they reached high school. Finding refuge in the literature club, she finally makes friends who distract her from her troubles. The club is infamous for its members reading explicit scenes aloud from books, a reputation so strong that no teacher will agree to oversee them. One day, while talking about their bucket lists, one of the girls casually mentions "sex." That single word lingers in their minds, slowly consuming their thoughts. And when Kazusa accidentally walks in on Izumi in a compromising situation, it sends her spiraling, forcing her to confront her buried feelings for him. With their hearts pounding and the literature club on the verge of being shut down, the five girls must struggle to keep their sanity-and their club-from falling apart.
