Natsuza Yuzuki has loved rugby since childhood, excelling as a left-winger. When he joins Doushisha University, he quickly stands out in the Kansai University League. But his future collapses after a motorcycle accident leaves him with a spinal hernia, ending his playing career. With no other option, he takes on the role of team manager, hoping to guide his squad to a league title. His team is a mix of personalities: his quiet, loyal best friend Seiichirou Jingyouji, the team’s full-back; fiery first-year Yasunari Tsuru, who resents Natsuza while filling his old position as left wing; and Yuu Mashiro, the scrum half struggling to prove himself. Though Natsuza dedicates himself to training the team, something feels missing. A year earlier, Ibuki Ueka-Doushisha’s brilliant fly-half and former ace-suddenly walked away from rugby. Now, Natsuza is set on bringing him back.
