One day, Sandy receives a stuffed koala doll from her father, Professor Brown, who sent it after one of his travels. When she rubs the koala’s nose, it suddenly comes to life. His name is Blinky, and he’s from a magical place called Koalawalla Land, the "down under." Soon, Blinky’s little sister, Pinky, joins them. Together, they experience adventures in both Sandy’s world and Koalawalla Land. Along the way, they meet two men chasing the "magical talking bear," a lizard that jumps between the magical realm and the real world, and kangaroo police officers.
