Warriors of the Wind

A thousand years have passed since the devastating "Seven Days of Fire," a nuclear war that nearly wiped out all life on Earth. Now, humanity struggles to survive against a deadly, ever-expanding jungle, mutated by mankind's destruction-a place teeming with toxic spores and gigantic insects that threaten to consume what remains of civilization. Far from the jungle's reach lies the peaceful farming kingdom of the "Valley of the Wind," protected by the sea from the jungle's poisonous spread. Its young princess, Nausicaä, lives a quiet life until a crashing airship from the militaristic kingdom of Tolmekia disrupts the Valley's peace. Among the wreckage, Nausicaä and her people discover a sinister, pulsating object-prompting an immediate invasion by the Tolmekian army, who seek to resurrect a doomsday weapon from the Seven Days of Fire. Now Nausicaä must fight to prevent the Tolmekians from unleashing another apocalypse while also defending her home from the relentless advance of the toxic jungle.
