After her boyfriend dumps her for someone else, college student Akane Kinoshita struggles with heartbreak and the lingering reminders of their past. To cope, she logs into "Forest of Savior," the MMO they once played together, and hatches a plan for revenge at an upcoming in-game event. But her scheme takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Akito Yamada, a gaming prodigy who also happens to be in her guild.
