Mushiking: The Guardians of the Forest - S01

A spaceship carrying powerful, mysterious beings crashes onto a dying planet, unleashing a surge of energy that revives the lifeless world. In a remote forest teeming with insects like mantises, ladybugs, and beetles, a young boy named Popo lives happily with his mother. His greatest wish is to grow strong enough to find his father, the "Guardian of the Forest," who vanished years ago while studying the planet’s ecosystem. One day, Popo sees a strange mist envelop the woods and encounters a sinister figure named Passer, who blames his father for the forest’s suffering. Rushing home, he discovers his mother has been turned into a half-plant, half-human creature. Desperate, Popo realizes only his father can undo the transformation and save the forest. He sets out on a journey to find him. But the villainous Adder and his henchmen send giant beetles to stop Popo at every turn. Luckily, he has an ally-Mushiking, the "King of Beetles," whose incredible strength and fighting skills rescue Popo time and again. As he embraces his destiny as the next Guardian of the Forest, Popo’s quest to reunite his family and protect their home begins.
