Mononoke - S01

A mysterious figure known as the "Medicine Seller" roams feudal Japan, hunting down evil spirits called "mononoke." But he can't simply destroy them-to wield his Exorcism Sword, he must first uncover each spirit's Form, Truth, and Reason. This forces him into perilous investigations, studying the mononoke up close before he can even fight it. His latest journey brings him to a traditional inn where Shino, a pregnant woman, has taken shelter. The innkeeper grudgingly gives her the last available room, but it soon becomes clear the space is haunted by a vicious group of mononoke known as the Zashiki Warashi. Sensing the danger, the Medicine Seller begins his methodical hunt for the spirits' secrets-before they claim another victim.
