In the year Universal Century 0096, three years after Char Aznable’s failed rebellion to push humanity into space, life in the orbiting colonies carries on. Banagher Links, a 16-year-old student, lives quietly on Side 4, surrounded by his classmates. Audrey Burne, the last survivor of a once-powerful and oppressive dynasty, sets out to steal the key to "Laplace’s Box," a legendary artifact rumored to hold the power to reshape the universe. Hoping to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Sleeves-Char’s remaining Neo-Zeon loyalists-she arrives at Side 4. There, she crosses paths with Banagher, altering his life irrevocably. When the Sleeves, led by the formidable Marida Cruz and Full Frontal, launch an attack on Side 4, Banagher pilots the newly constructed Gundam Unicorn to protect his friends and decide the future of humanity.
