Maria the Virgin Witch - S01

Maria is a skilled young witch living with her two familiars in medieval France, during the turmoil of the Hundred Years' War. As the conflict ravages the land and harms the innocent, she grows tired of the suffering and starts using her magic to intervene, hoping to bring peace. But her actions draw the attention of heaven, and the archangel Michael is sent to stop her from interfering in human affairs. He confronts Maria and forbids her from using her powers, declaring that she will lose her magic if she ever loses her virginity. Despite being branded a heretic, Maria refuses to obey and keeps disrupting the war. Yet as the Church schemes to strip her of her abilities and end her meddling for good, her efforts to maintain peace may soon be cut short.
