Maoyu: Archenemy & Hero - S01

Fifteen years into the war between humans and demons, the Hero grows impatient with their slow progress into the Demon Realm. Leaving his companions behind, he rushes ahead to the Demon Queen’s castle. When he arrives, he’s shocked to find her not only stunningly beautiful but also asking for his help. Suspicious, he refuses, accusing the demons of devastating the Southern Nations through their endless war. The Demon Queen counters his claims, insisting the war has actually strengthened humanity, bringing wealth and unity. She proves her point with evidence, then reveals a darker truth: if the war ends, the Central Nations will stop sending aid to the Southern Nations, dooming countless people to starvation. Still, she proposes a solution-one that could end the war while offering hope to all nations, but only if the Hero helps her. Persuaded at last, the Hero agrees to join forces with his former enemy. Swearing to stand together no matter what, they embark on a journey back to the human world.
