Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist - S01

Seventeen-year-old William Twining prides himself on his noble lineage and his belief in modern science. But when his family goes bankrupt, the arrogant young noble must confront the harsh truth-he can no longer afford his tuition or the privileged life he’s always known. Desperate for anything of value, William searches his manor and stumbles upon a hidden room, where he unwittingly summons Dantalion, a haughty demon and Grand Duke of Hell. As it turns out, Lucifer, Hell’s ruler, has fallen into a deep sleep, leaving the underworld in chaos. Only a human "Elector"-appointed to choose a temporary successor-holds any authority, sparking tension among demons. Though Dantalion insists William is Solomon’s direct descendant and wields absolute power in the underworld, the stubborn boy refuses to believe any of it. Denying both magic and the supernatural, William remains oblivious to the fact that he’s already at the heart of the escalating conflict between Heaven and Hell.
