In a fantasy version of Europe, tensions rise as two rival nations, Zhcted and Brune, edge closer to war. Zhcted is divided into seven regions, each ruled by a War Maiden called a Vanadis, who wield legendary dragon-carved weapons. Eleonora "Elen" Viltaria, one of these Vanadis, leads an invasion into Brune. During the fighting, she crushes the forces of Tigrevurmud "Tigre" Vorn, a young archer and earl of Brune's Alsace region. Yet instead of killing him, Elen spares Tigre and commands him, "Become mine!" The reason for this unexpected alliance remains unclear. Based on Tsukasa Kawaguchi's light novel, "Madan no Ou to Vanadis" follows Tigre and Elen as they navigate a sprawling conflict riddled with political intrigue, hidden agendas, and betrayals. Amid the chaos of war, they must uncover the truth behind the shadows manipulating their nations.
