Lonely Castle in the Mirror

In a quiet Tokyo neighborhood, seven students refuse to go to school-each hiding in their dimly lit rooms, unable to face their families or peers-until the day the mirrors in their bedrooms begin to glow. With a single touch, they’re pulled from their isolation into a fantastical castle straight from a fairy tale. This strange, whimsical place, short on food and running water but filled with power outlets, becomes their daytime sanctuary. It’s ruled by a masked girl called Wolf Queen, who tells them a hidden key lies somewhere in the castle, granting one wish to whoever finds it. But there are rules: the key must be found before the school year ends, and they must leave by five each day-or face death. As the days pass, a grim realization sets in: the only way to survive is to share their deepest secrets. One by one, their stories unfold-a boy drowning in material gifts but starved for affection, another crushed by unexplained rejection, a girl terrified of her stepfather’s advances. Bound by the game’s cruel rules, they slowly break free from their cycles of loneliness and misunderstanding, discovering that friendship, empathy, and sacrifice might be their only way out.
