"Period" is the name given to magic users who defeat "Spiral"-monsters summoned from isolation. With these creatures on the rise, 14-year-old Haru, an apprentice Period and member of the Eighth Arc-end Division, is thrust into the endless fight to break the cycle. But when a mysterious theft leaves the division bankrupt, Haru and his comrades are forced to abandon their headquarters. Now, to rebuild their branch, they must tackle one quest after another.
