This story follows the lives of people intertwined with a town-a coal mining settlement packed with small excavators, often called the "Hakoniwa." The town shifts like a labyrinth, never staying the same. Here, a girl named Kagari makes a living drawing maps, while a boy named Yuya dreams of escaping the "Hakoniwa." As their paths cross, they and the town’s other peculiar residents uncover a hidden conspiracy that threatens everything. The future of the "Hakoniwa" rests on the maps Kagari draws.
