Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble?

In the fall of his first year of middle school, Arata Kouda stumbles upon Kujima, a peculiar creature that vaguely resembles a bird. When Arata realizes Kujima is starving, he takes it home. But thanks to his older brother, who just failed his college entrance exams, Kujima gets swept up in the chaos and winds up mooching off the Kouda family. It claims this is only temporary-just until winter passes and spring arrives-but things don’t seem so simple.
