Kokkoku: Moment by Moment - S01

Juri Yukawa's plans to move out collapse after she apparently flunks 19 job interviews in a single day. Stuck in her crowded family home with her overworked mother Nobuko, her NEET brother Tsubasa, her unemployed father Takafumi, and her single-mother sister Sanae, the family’s only shot at raising a responsible adult rests on her young nephew Makoto. But things get even worse when Makoto and Tsubasa are suddenly kidnapped by a shadowy group demanding ransom. With just half an hour to deliver five million yen, Juri and Takafumi learn a dangerous secret from her grandfather. By bleeding onto his strange stone, they enter "Stasis," a frozen version of their world where only they can move. But their rescue mission goes wrong when they’re attacked by others who can also navigate this timeless space. Just as all seems hopeless, a terrifying giant called the Herald emerges-its purpose as unclear as the mysteries of Stasis itself.
