Love works in strange ways, and that couldn’t be more true for Ryou Amakusa, a wealthy, brilliant playboy. One rainy morning, he nearly tumbles down the stairs-only to be saved by a girl named Ichika Arima. By sheer coincidence, he runs into her again that same night, discovering she’s the best friend of his younger sister, Rio. Eager to "thank" her, Ryou tries his usual flirty charm, but Ichika shuts him down instantly, put off by his behavior. Instead of backing off, he becomes even more fascinated by her. Despite her obvious disgust, he doubles down, determined to win her heart no matter how many times she rejects him. But as time goes on, will Ichika keep pushing him away-or could his relentless, if creepy, devotion finally wear her down?
