Haruno Kasumi is a ten-year-old girl whose zoologist parents have left for Africa to continue their research. To say goodbye, she travels to Kasumi Town, where her family owns a large mansion deep in the forest. This is where she’ll be staying under their care. The mansion has an air of mystery, and Kasumi soon meets a group of talking appliances-creatures the Kasumi family calls "Henamon." In exchange for living there, she helps with chores like cooking and laundry. As she adjusts to her new life, Kasumi finds herself surrounded by quirky characters, marking the start of a fresh and unusual chapter.
