The Abyssal Fleet’s relentless attacks push humanity to the brink, with only the Kanmusu-girls embodying the spirits of historic Japanese warships-standing in their way. Yet the battle takes its toll, and many Kanmusu are lost beneath the waves. Among them is Kisaragi, a Mutsuki-class destroyer presumed sunk. After a successful night operation, the Eighth Fleet discovers Kisaragi adrift, unconscious but alive. But something feels off-her strange behavior puts the other Kanmusu on edge. Unexplained voices whisper in the darkness, and patches of crimson seawater corrode their equipment. Strangely, Fubuki, the flagship of her destroyer class, remains unharmed. As Fubuki and her comrades confront these eerie phenomena, they uncover unsettling truths about the Abyssal Fleet and their own existence. Despite the mounting uncertainty, they press on, determined to reclaim the seas and safeguard everything they hold dear.
