Kageki Shojo!! - S01

After a scandal with a male fan forces Ai Narata to leave the idol group JPX48, she vows to avoid men entirely. Determined to start fresh, she auditions for the prestigious all-female Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts, known for training the finest actresses who later join the renowned Kouka Theatre Troupe. Though her idol background makes her a strong fit for the school's hundredth-generation class, her cold attitude pushes her classmates away. Sarasa Watanabe, the only one eager to befriend Ai, is an oddball with a single-minded dream: to become a top "otokoyaku," an actress specializing in male roles. Inspired by a childhood performance of "The Rose of Versailles", she longs to one day play Lady Oscar. But Sarasa's social obliviousness strains her relationships, including with Ai, who ends up as her reluctant roommate and partner in many classes. Raw talent alone won’t guarantee success at Kouka. As jealousy, betrayal, and the brutal demands of the industry test their resolve, Ai and Sarasa must prove they have what it takes to reach the top-and stand together on the silver bridge.
