Takeru Yagi has lived with the Touma family ever since losing his parents, raised by the household’s patriarch, Rokunosuke Touma. His life is filled with familiar faces-his best friend and kendo rival, Takeshi Yamato; the Shiratori sisters, Kotono and Asuka; and his childhood friend, Seri Oosu. Everything seems peaceful until a sudden earthquake shakes the school. When Takeru regains consciousness, the school lies in ruins, as if abandoned for centuries. The teachers and students have vanished without a trace. After reuniting with Seri and Asuka, they escape the crumbling building, only to discover their entire town is deserted.
