Sorcerer Luck believes his end has come. Surrounded by overwhelming demon forces, he makes a desperate stand to buy time for his friends to escape. Without sleep or rest, he endures endless battles-clashing swords, blood-soaked rain, and wave after wave of enemies. Against all odds, he defeats the demon commander, only to discover a decade has passed. Worse yet, his body has regressed to the appearance of a teenager. After his victory, Luck reunites with his old companions, hero Eric Imgard Mendirival and warrior Goran Morton. Believing him dead, they enshrined his legacy as a hero and set out to stop the demon resurgence themselves, unaware of Luck's survival. Now, all Luck wants is a quiet life. Adopting the alias "Lock," he registers as a novice adventurer and embarks on a journey with a fresh group of allies.
