In 21st century Japan, cars equipped with artificial intelligence-called "A.I. cars"-have transformed the automotive industry by improving safety. Special schools now train children to operate these vehicles. Kakeru Todoroki, a fifth-grade student at Arcadia Academy, is called to the principal’s office one day and given an A.I. car with a mission: "to save humanity, a task for chosen drivers like you." But this car is more than it seems-it’s a transforming robot known as a "Gyrozetter."
