House of Five Leaves - S01

Masanosuke "Masa" Akitsu is a wandering ronin drifting through Japan's peaceful Edo period. Though a skilled swordsman, his timid nature has earned him a reputation as "unreliable," and he is frequently fired by employers, leaving him to doubt his worth as a samurai. At his lowest point, Masa meets Yaichi, a carefree man dressed in pink who casually hires him as a bodyguard. What Masa doesn’t realize is that the job is far from simple-he’s pulled into the shadowy dealings of the group led by Yaichi. As he gets deeper into the world of the gang called the Five Leaves, Masa wrestles with his own morals, yet his growing curiosity pushes him to learn the secrets behind this enigmatic band of outlaws.
