High School of the Dead

Takashi Komuro and his friends flee the zombie-ridden mainland and take refuge on a secluded island near Tokonosu City. While searching the island for supplies, they stumble upon a small shack by the shore, where they find fresh clothes and a place to sleep. After spending the day gathering food, they prepare a meal over a campfire. As they sit by the fire, a faint haze drifts around them, leaving them dizzy and sick. Realizing the scent comes from hydrangeas-a toxic plant that induces hallucinations-they try to get away from the overpowering fumes.
