Hanada Shounen-shi - S01

Ichiro Hanada is a restless young boy living in a small countryside town with his parents, sister, and grandfather. He’s always causing trouble, whether by pestering his sister or making cheeky remarks to others. Because of this, his mother is constantly yelling at him, and even the neighbors complain about how noisy and unruly he is. One day, after pulling a particularly nasty prank, Ichiro bolts into the street with his mother hot on his heels. He snatches a nearby bicycle and rides recklessly, only to get hit by a truck. Against the odds, he survives the accident but ends up with nine stitches on the back of his head-and a bald patch from the surgery. Worse yet, the brush with death leaves him with an unwelcome new ability: he can now see ghosts. Since Ichiro is the only one who can interact with them, restless spirits start seeking him out, asking for his help to complete their unfinished business before they can move on. Each encounter teaches him something new, slowly shaping his brash personality into something a little wiser.
