Kazuya Kujou is a Japanese student studying at Saint Marguerite Academy, an elite boarding school in the Southern European nation of Sauville. His dark hair and eyes make him stand out, earning him the cruel nickname "Black Reaper" from his classmates, inspired by a local myth about a harbinger of death. One ordinary day, Kujou wanders into the school’s grand library, drawn by his love of ghost stories. But his attention shifts when he spots a single golden hair on the staircase. Following the trail, he discovers a vast garden and meets Victorique de Blois, a doll-like girl with an extraordinary mind capable of unraveling the threads of fate. Their destinies soon become entangled. As strange events unfold-a phantom ship emerges, and an alchemist wielding forbidden powers appears-Kujou and Victorique must rely on each other’s abilities to navigate the mysteries ahead. Bound by circumstance and their own talents, they have no choice but to face the unknown together.
