God Eater - S01

Humanity teeters on the brink of extinction, pushed there by the "Aragami"-monstrous creatures that devour everything in their path. The last survivors cling to isolated strongholds, desperate for a way to fight back. Ordinary weapons are useless against the Aragami; only "Oracle Cell" arms, forged from the same material as the monsters themselves, can harm them. But the Aragami evolve swiftly, quickly developing resistance to even these weapons. With no other options left, the remaining human governments make a desperate plan: detonate a nuclear reactor to wipe out the Aragami swarming Eurasia. A team of soldiers is sent to carry out this mission, supported by three "God Eaters" from the Fenrir Far East Branch-the organization holding together what’s left of Japan. These warriors wield advanced weapons known as God Arcs, designed to pierce Aragami flesh and crush their cores. If anyone can turn the tide against the Aragami and save humanity from annihilation, it might just be them.
