Girls Band Cry - S01

Everyone searches for their place in life, and 17-year-old Nina Iseri is no different. Hoping to get into a good university, she struggles against a world that feels like it’s working against her. On her first day in Tokyo, she gets lost, brushed off, and even locked out of her new apartment. But things take a turn when she crosses paths with Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist she’s long admired. After an impromptu street performance together, Momoka suggests they form a band. Though hesitant at first, Nina finds herself drawn in as their group grows-Subaru Awa, the striking drummer; Tomo Ebizuka, the distant keyboardist; and Rupa, the sharp-witted bassist. Together, the five girls navigate the ups and downs of the music scene and their own personal struggles, but their love for music keeps them pushing forward toward their dreams.
