Gilgamesh - S01

Scientists from across the globe gather to study "Heaven's Gate," the tomb of the legendary King Gilgamesh, now repurposed as a lab in their quest to uncover the secrets of immortality. But when the research is declared unethical, the project is shut down. Ignoring this, a terrorist group storms Heaven's Gate, triggering an explosion that brings about the downfall of the world's advanced information society. Years later, siblings Tatsuya and Kiyoko Madoka are fleeing from criminals, only to discover they're caught in the middle of a hidden war between two powerful factions. Each side claims to fight for society's greater good, leaving the siblings to navigate the conflict and decide where their trust belongs.
