Garo: Crimson Moon - S01

The world is under siege by monstrous beings called "Horrors," which emerge from the dark realm of Makai. These demons possess humans and consume their souls, leaving the night shrouded in terror-anyone caught outside after sunset rarely lives to see dawn. Yet the capital city remains safe, shielded by a mystical barrier crafted by the Onmyouji sorcerers. Raikou, the Golden Knight, vows to defend humanity from the Horrors with the power of his legendary armor. Alongside his loyal attendant Kintoki and the enigmatic Makai Alchemist Seimei, he trains to become a true Makai Knight. But the armor's power comes at a cost, and Raikou struggles with its toll. Frustrated by his own limitations, he embarks on a journey to overcome his flaws and earn his place as a protector.
