Future Boy Conan

Twenty years after a devastating war reshaped the world, an old man and his spirited grandson, Conan, live as the last survivors of their community. They think they might be the only humans left-until they find a girl washed up unconscious on their remote island’s shore. When she wakes, the girl, Lana, tells them she was escaping agents from Industria, a high-tech fortress island. As the telepathic granddaughter of the famous scientist Dr. Briac Lao, Industria wants her to help track him down. They believe his knowledge holds the key to unlocking a powerful energy source. Conan and his grandfather try to protect her, but Industrian soldiers eventually take Lana away. Determined to save her, Conan sets out on a daring journey-but the challenges ahead are greater than he knows.
