Fullmetal Alchemist - S01

Edward Elric is a young but exceptionally skilled alchemist who has already endured deep loss in his twelve years. After attempting the forbidden act of human transmutation to bring their mother back to life, he and his younger brother Alphonse pay a terrible price-Edward loses two limbs, and Alphonse’s entire body is taken. In desperation, Edward uses his alchemy to bind Alphonse’s soul to a suit of armor. A year later, Edward, now a state alchemist with the title "Fullmetal Alchemist," sets out with Alphonse to find the Philosopher’s Stone. The legendary artifact is said to amplify an alchemist’s power enough to bypass alchemy’s most sacred rule-that something of equal value must be given for anything gained. Edward hopes the stone will restore their bodies, but as they delve deeper into their search, they uncover a darker truth behind the stone’s legend, pulling them into a conflict far more dangerous than they anticipated.
