Fruits Basket - S01

Centuries ago, the Chinese zodiac spirits and their god vowed to remain together forever. Bound by this oath, the Souma family members possessed by these spirits are fated to reunite no matter what. But over time, these ties have become less of a bond and more of a curse, trapping them in an unbreakable cycle. As the clan’s leader, Akito believes he shares a unique relationship with the Soumas, clinging to this illusion even as the family suffers under his control, too afraid to defy him. Tooru Honda has grown close to the Soumas and refuses to accept their fate. With the support of her friends and her deepening bonds with the family, she resolves to free them from their curse. But as unsettling truths come to light, her resolve wavers. Time is running out, and Tooru must push forward despite the uncertainty, hoping to find peace for herself and those she cares about.
