"Fireball" is a collection of CGI anime shorts produced by Jinni's Animation Studios in collaboration with Disney, designed by Hitoshi Fukuchi. Unlike most anime, it uses full 3D animation without any cel-shading. Set in the far future of the 49th millennium, the story unfolds inside a vast manor where two robots live: Drossel von Flügel, a gynoid duchess, and her towering one-eyed spider-like servant, Gedächtnis. Most episodes feature absurd, meandering conversations between the two while a war against humanity rages outside. Later, they are joined by a third character-a monkey-shaped robot called "Schadenfreude."
