Final Fantasy: Unlimited - S01

Years ago, an interdimensional rift opened over the Sea of Japan, releasing two enormous beasts into the sky. Coastal nations watched as the creatures first attacked the naval patrol sent to investigate before turning on each other. From Japan, scientists Joe and Marie Hayakawa observed the battle-only to be pulled into the rift themselves. When they returned to Earth, they documented their discoveries in a groundbreaking book called "Day of Succession." Twelve years later, they vanished during a second expedition to that other world. Now, their twin children, Ai and Yu Hayakawa, embark on a journey to find their parents and uncover the truth behind the mysterious "Wonderland" they researched. Waiting in the ruins of an abandoned subway station, the twins board a train bound for that other dimension. There, they meet Lisa Pacifist, who joins their search. Together, the three set out to locate the missing Hayakawas-if they can survive the journey.
