Fantasia Sango – Realm of Legends - S01

Even after their defeat, the remnants of the Taipingtao Rebellion refuse to surrender, keeping China locked in an endless war. The lingering despair from the rebellion’s heavy casualties has begun to manifest as a toxic miasma, spawning monstrous creatures called "wangliang." These beings possess humans, twisting them into demons and fueling more death and miasma-a cycle of suffering that deepens the land’s despair. To combat this threat, the immortal "Tianyuan" deities appoint chosen warriors as "Hunters." Supporting them are the "Guizhan," artificial specialists crafted by the Tianyuan who can absorb miasma and even transform into demons, serving as vital weapons against the wangliang. When the Sixth Hunter Unit is disbanded after a disaster caused by a rogue Guizhan, the Tianyuan reassemble the team with three promising Hunters: Ji Ying, Qiao Xun, and Yan Ding. Yet, for reasons unknown, they also assign Xiao Ling-the very Guizhan who doomed the original unit-to fight alongside them. Despite their clashing histories, the revived team must set aside their grievances and unite their strengths to defeat their shared enemy.
