Elemental Gelade - S01

During a standard raid, the young sky pirate Coud stumbles upon an unexpected find in his crew’s cargo hold: Ren, an "Edel Reid"-a rare race valued by humans for their ability to enhance their partners’ combat skills through a process called "Reacting." But Coud soon realizes Ren is far more sought-after than he imagined. When three agents from the Edel Reid Protection Agency, "Arc Aire," board the ship to buy her, Coud refuses. Moments later, a mysterious force attacks, and Coud’s captain orders him to protect Ren at all costs.
