Most teenage gamers would find the idea of teaming up with their mom in an online game not just unlikely but downright awkward. Yet that’s exactly where Masato Oosuki ends up. After filling out a seemingly pointless survey, he gets dragged into a fantasy MMORPG-and his mother, Mamako, somehow comes along for the ride. After some initial tension between them, they set out to recruit more party members, picking up the merchant Porta and the sage Wise, and begin their quest to beat the game.
