Dark Gathering - S01

Keitarou Gentouga has always drawn the attention of spirits because of his powerful spiritual energy. A frightening encounter with one left his right hand cursed, forcing him to keep it covered with a glove. Now a college student, he tries to live an ordinary life-until his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki persuades him to take a job as a private tutor. Since he’s the top of his class, his first assignment is the tutoring agency’s brightest student, Yayoi Houzuki. To his surprise, Yayoi is Eiko’s cousin-and she has two pupils in each eye, letting her see spirits and actively hunt vengeful ones to exorcise. After a car accident killed her parents, Yayoi has been searching for the powerful spirit that stole her mother’s soul. Realizing how strongly spirits are drawn to Keitarou, she recruits him to help gather evil spirits that might aid her in the coming battle. Though the mission is perilous, Keitarou agrees to assist her, even as every new spirit they face tests his determination.
