Daemons of the Shadow Realm - S01

In a remote village, twin siblings were born, divided by day and night. Years later, the older brother, Yuru, works as a hunter while his sister, Asa, is confined to a cage, forced to carry out a sacred duty that restricts her contact with all but a chosen few. One uneventful day, armed men in helicopters-called "dragons" by the villagers-attack, slaughtering every adult in their hunt for Yuru. When he tries to find Asa and escape, he discovers her corpse instead. Worse, her killer claims to be his real twin sister. Before the woman can seize him, Yuru is saved by Ryuu "Dera" Tadera, an outsider who often visits the village. But their escape is short-lived, and as they’re cornered, Dera forces Yuru to offer a gift to the village deity. This act summons a pair of daemons, bound to expose the secrets behind the chaos unfolding around them.
