Coo of the Far Seas

Yousuke Obata lives with his father, Tetsuo, an ocean biology expert, on the island of Pagopago in Fiji. One day, after a storm hits, Yousuke rides his Jet Ski to the lagoon and discovers a peculiar baby dinosaur. He brings it back to his father’s lab and names it Coo. As Coo grows, it becomes clear the creature is a young plesiosaur-a marine reptile thought to have gone extinct 65 million years ago. But Coo’s existence soon catches the attention of the French secret service, which is stationed in the region to guard France’s nuclear interests. What was once a peaceful life for Yousuke and his unusual companion is now under threat.
