Citrus - S01

Yuzu Aihara's life takes a turn the summer after her freshman year when her mother remarries, uprooting her to a new school. As a vibrant socialite, Yuzu sees this as a chance to make friends, find love, and finally share her first kiss. But her flashy personality clashes with her new all-girls school's strict, studious atmosphere. Her bold style catches the eye of Mei Aihara, the stern student council president, who aggressively confiscates Yuzu's phone by roughly searching her. Exhausted from the day, Yuzu returns home only to learn that Mei is now her step-sister. Though Yuzu tries to be friendly, Mei's icy demeanor provokes her into teasing-only for Mei to silence her with a sudden, forceful kiss. As Yuzu struggles to break free, Mei pulls away and leaves, her expression haunted. Stunned, Yuzu is left questioning the meaning of that kiss and the pain hidden behind Mei's cold facade.
