Chainsaw Man - S01

Denji never got a chance at a normal teenage life-his father left him drowning in debt, forcing him to work as a devil hunter alongside his only friend, the chainsaw devil Pochita. But no matter how many devils he kills, the money always goes to the yakuza, leaving Denji with nothing but simple dreams: good meals and a pretty girlfriend. When the yakuza betray and kill him, those dreams seem lost forever. Yet, through an old contract, Pochita merges with Denji, reviving him as a hybrid with the power to turn his limbs into chainsaws. His dangerous new form catches the attention of Makima, a top devil hunter from the Public Safety Bureau, who offers him a deal-his life in exchange for obedience. Now, clinging to his childish hopes of love and happiness, Denji throws himself into battle, fighting with everything he has to turn those dreams into reality.
