Berserk - S01

The kingdom of Midland is in chaos, overrun by demons that now roam freely. Guts, a skilled swordsman, is marked by a cursed brand that forces him to keep moving, never settling for long. While he could once fend for himself, he now faces an even greater burden: protecting Casca, his former commander, who has been reduced to a fragile shadow of her former self. She no longer remembers him or trusts him, leaving Guts to watch over her as they flee from relentless demon attacks. Desperate for safety, they seek refuge in the fabled land of Elfhelm, a place rumored to be untouched by demons. Their elf companion, Puck, points them toward this distant hope, but the journey is grueling, and their goal remains uncertain. Even as they search for a sanctuary for Casca, Guts refuses to forget those who doomed them to this nightmare-and the vengeance that still drives him.
